Baby elephant found dead

Coimbatore : A six-year-old elephant was found dead in Periyanaickenpalayam range in the district today.

A few forest department officials, who were on morning rounds, noticed the carcass of the male elephant in Idamaerugu area around 10 am, department sources said.
Senior officials rushed to the spot and further investigation was on, they said.
