100 illegal shops removed from Nanjappa Road, Central Bus Stand

Coimbatore : The Corporation officials today removed 75 illegally functioning shops and petty business houses in and around the Central Bus Stand here.

After issuing notices to the traders, Corporation officials and workers this morning removed 50 shops selling bags, suits cases, clothes and other consumables on the busy Dr Nanjappa Road.

Similarly, 25 shops were removed from the Central Bus Stand, which were hindering the movement of passengers and vehicles.
