12 injured as buses collide

Twelve passengers were injured when a government bus and a mini bus in a head-on collision on Sirumuhai Road near Mothepalayam.
The government bus driven by 57-year-old Mubarak was headed for Mettupalayam from Sathyamangalam and Mithunkumar was driving the mini bus.
Mubarak’s leg broke in the accident. The injured passengers have been admitted to Mettupalayam Government Hospital for treatment
