125 arrested in city, 538 in rural limits for 144 violation in Coimbatore

Coimbatore : Police have arrested 125 persons for violating the Section 144 during the lockdown period in the city yesterday.
A total of 119 cases were registered and 20 vehicles seized in the process.
In the rural limits, 538 persons were arrested, after registering 460 cases and seized 487 vehicles during the period.
