2.3 kg ganja seized

Police seized 2.3 kg ganja from two persons at Sunnambu Kalvai near Anthiyur in Pollachi on Friday. The two, Mohammed Asik of Kozhikodu and Asraf Ali of Palakkad in Kerala, have been remanded in custody.
According to police, the stuff was seized from them during a routine vehicle checking.

Police have intensified patrolling in the area and also alerted the Kerala border area police, said a senior official.
