20 gold chains stolen at KG Street

An unidentified person stole 20 gold chains worth Rs 1 lakh from a shop were jewels are polished, near KG Street here on Wednesday.
According to sources, M.Krishnan (55) was reportedly running a shop at KG street where gold jewels are given to be polished.
On Wednesday around 1.45 pm, an unknown culprit had broke into the shop and stole 20 gold chains worth 73 grams and escaped with the booty. A case has been registered at the Variety Hall Road police station and investigations are on.
