22 Sulur bypoll nominations found in order

Coimbatore : Nominations of 22 candidates, including those of major political parties, contesting for the Sulur bypoll, were found in order after the scrutiny Tuesday.
A total of 61 candidates had filed their nominations of which 39 were rejected during the scrutiny, official sources said.
The last date for withdrawal of nominations for the May 19 by-election is May 2.
AIADMK has fielded V P Kandasamy, DMK Pongalur Palanisamy, AMMK Sugumar, MNM G Mayilsami and Naam Tamilar Katchi Vijayaragavan for the bypoll necessitated by the death of sitting AIADAMK MLA R Kanagaraj.
