3-day conference on translational cancer from December 14

Coimbatore will host a three-day international conference on developments in cancer research beginning December 14. Issues to be discussed include herbal medicine, cancer studies, nutrigenomics, and translation research in cancer studies.

Dr. P.R. Krishnakumar, Chancellor Avinashilingam University for Women, said that the main objective of the conference was to explore translational cancer research perspectives and to identify collaborative partnerships in cutting edge science in cancer research.

65 research papers on cancer will be presented during the conference and over 80 scientists and researchers will participate in the conference. The conference is being jointly organized by the Avinashilingam University for Women and the Ohio State University.
