3,300 kgs of plastic bags seized, Rs 9.95 lakh fine collected

Coimbatore : City Corporation officials have seized 3,300 kgs of banned plastic materials during raids in over 16,819 shops in the first two days of this month.
A fine of Rs 9.95 lakh was realised from the shopkeepers, it is learnt.
