4 two-wheelers stolen in city on Tuesday

Four two-wheelers were stolen from across the city on Tuesday. While three of them were from Ramanathapuram and the fourth was stolen from RS Puram area.

According to Ramanathapuram police, in the first incident Kamalakannan, who runs a travel agency in Sowripalayam Pirivu, owns two Royal Enfield bullets which he gives on rent to customers. He parked them outside his shop on Monday night and when he come on Tuesday morning he found them missing.

In the same area a Passion pro bike of Vijayashankar of Avarampalayam was stolen. R Chenniraj of Sundarapuram who parked his bike at

RS Puram and went on a small errand found it missing on return a little later.

City police have filed cases and are probing the matter. “We have formed a special team and informed to all police stations in the city limits. Check post police have also been alerted,” said a senior police official.
