4,173 appear for asst professors in Engineering college test

A total of 4,173 candidates appeared for the written test for the post of Assistant Professors in Government Engineering colleges, in the district. As many as 6,622 persons had applied for the written test.
The test, conducted by Teachers Training Board, was held at 16 centres across the district, under supervision of 693 officials.
The administration has ensured uninterrupted power supply and security, by deploying police, at all the Centres.
