64- year-old electrocuted

In a tragic incident, a 64 year old man from Edayarpalayam near Kuniyamuthur was electrocuted here on Thursday.
According to sources, the deceased P.Mariyappan was reportedly residing at Church Street in Edayarpalayam. On Thursday, he had touched a live wire near his locality and was immediately rushed to CMCH. However, he succumbed on the way to the hospital. A case has been registered with the Kuniyamuthur Police and investigation is on.
