65 fresh cases in Coimbatore crosses 500 mark

Coimbatore, Jun 29 : With 65 new covid-19 positive cases, Coimbatore continued to witness surge in infection, taking the total to 528 today.
Of the 528, 187 were discharged and 339 under treatment.
Similarly, Salem also witnessed an increase to 753 cases till date, as 36 more positive cases added today. Of the total cases, 268 patients were discharged and 483 undergoing treatment
with two deaths.
Erode has 16 cases today taking the total to 136 of which 77 were discharged and 55 under treatment with four deaths.
While Nilgiris has 14 new cases taking the total to 84, of which 29 are discharged and 55 under treatment, in Tiupur 11 cases were registered taking the tally to 160 of which 117 were discharged with 43 undergoing treatment, the bulletin said.
