80 liquor bottles seized

The police in Coimbatore have seized over 80 liquor bottles around the district on Saturday. The bottles were meant for illegal sale.
According to police, more than 15 persons have been arrested for possession of the liquor bottles which were meant for sale in areas like Walayar checkpost, Mettupalayam, Thudiyalur, and Thondamuthur.
The liquor bottles were seized by the police and cases were registered against the arrested 15 persons. They were all later released on bail.
