96.42% pass in district, 238 schools get full pass in SSLC

Coimbatore district registered a 96.42 per cent pass in the SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced today.
Of the 41,649 students who appeared for the examinations, 40,156 from 519 schools passed. Of them, 238 schools had 100 per cent pass.
While 20,511 boys appeared for the examinations and 19,447 passed, of the 21,138 girls, 20,700 cleared the examination, registering a pass percentage of 94.81 and 97.97, respectively.
In the corporation limits the pass percentage was 92.71 with 1,882 students of the total 2,030 who appeared from 27 schools passing. Five schools secured 100 per cent pass.
