A tailor from Coimbatore refuses Amma’s free power

A city-based tailor has volunteered not to accept the government’s offer of free electricity for the first hundred units as “it is not healthy for the State’s economy.”
In is letter to the District Collector, Archana Patnaik, the tailor from Chinniampalayam, S. Muthukumaraswamy pointed out that though the scheme would benefit people monetarily, it would have an impact on the economy of the State.
He appealed to the Government to create a platform wherein people can volunteer to give up the offer.
