The agitation seeking to allow the conduct of Jallikattu by the students and youths entered the fifth day today, as some Law College students continued their hunger strike on the issue.

The students have been raising slogans in support of their demand at VOC Park Grounds in the city, police said.

Meanwhile, a group of students reportedly manhandled a reporter and cameraman of TV Channel last night, and also reportedly asked other channels not telecast their agitation.

Defying the ban, some students held cock flight near the venue for about an hour.

Some Law College students are on fast since yesterday on the issue, police said.
