Parents of Saravanan Ganesan, who was found dead in mysterious circumstances in his flat in Delhi about two months ago, today sought a CBI probe into the incidents leading to his death, with an autopsy report ruling out suicide.

Talking to reporters in nearby Tirupur, his home town, Saravanan’s father Ganesan alleged that some doctors in AIIMS had a part in the ‘murder’ of his son and a section of Delhi Police were hand in glove with them.

The autopsy conducted by the Department of Forensic Medicine has ruled out the possibility of suicide by Saravanan.

The postgraduate medical student was found dead in his rented flat in Hauz Khas on July 10, with the police claiming that he had committed suicide by self-injecting, what is believed to be pottasium chloride, into his right hand.
