The four-day long 41st All India Conference of the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) will begin in Coimbatore on February 25. More than 2,500 delegates from all over India will attend the conference to discuss the issues that affect the workers and the trade unions.

Among the important topics this time are the proposed amendments that the BJP-led government is keen on bringing to the existing labour laws. Leaders of the eight major trade unions in the country will be felicitated at the conference.

All the top leaders of the AITUC, including its national president Ramendra Kumar and general secretary Gurudas Dasgupta will attend the meet.
