Coimbatore’s very own socialite and jewellery enthusiast Sangeetha Peter is back with her jewellery collection. She is a curator of precious gold and uncut diamond jewellery for the past five years. Her passion for jewellery and impeccable taste has made her shows successful and a looked-forward-to event in Coimbatore. Her forte is timeless bejewelled ornaments in diamond, Kundan Jadau, gold and Pachi works.

Recently she held a two day exhibition-and-sale of her jewellery in the city. Her show had on display one of the finest jewellery from L. Bajrang Pershad of Hyderabad. With a history of almost a century L. Bajrang Pershad has carved its own niche in the elite market with loyal clientele that includes royal families and celebrities. Successfully running the business for four generations now, the firm specialises in customised jewellery. Starting from the Nizams, to catering to the growing demand for detailed and intricately crafted adornments, the store is indulgence personified! “I’m a huge admirer of their jewellery. So I have made their exclusive gold jewellery available to the Coimbatore crowd through my shows,” Sangeetha says.

On display at the exhibition-and-sale were hundreds of pieces of gold and uncut diamond earrings, chains, rings, neck pieces, and bracelets. Each piece on display was handpicked by Sangeetha and the entire collection was curated by her.

Sangeetha is the Junior Vice Chairperson of FLO Coimbatore Chapter. She is also involved in her family business that provides platform for young promising children to reach greater heights in badminton and swimming tournaments. She is passionate about jewellery and this has prompted her to curate jewellery shows. The success of her shows in the past has motivated her to conduct more such events.
