Central govt orders extension of CBI Director Praveen Sood’s tenure for another year
Coimbatore : With students, particularly from poorer section, aspiring to become IAS/IPS officers, Tamil Nadu government Sunday opened an IAS Academy in the city for their benefits.
Named after former Chief Mnister, Jayalalithaa, Amma IAS Academy, will help make the dreams come true of such students, as academy will provide free coaching, the State Municipal Administration Minister, S P Velumani said after inaugurating it.
The applications to join the academy were also distributed at a function at R S Puram.
