Soon predicting human behaviour using mobile apps may become a reality. The discovery of apps that use cloud computing and big data analytics that may forecast the mood and behaviour of people is on the cards.

Disclosing this during his address to students of a city-based engineering college, Krishna Kant, head EMC Academic Alliance, South Asia, Russia, ANZ said the computer field was set to witness a great change in the next few years.

“The public health system in every country should use the application of cloud computing and the big data analytics to control the morbidity rate and prevent the occurrences of diseases. The use of data analytics in the health field will easily identify the occurrence of diseases and also clearly portray the health deterioration in the body. When diseases are diagnosed at an early stage, the medical professionals can work on ways to prevent the diseases. This can automatically bring down the death rate.” Krishna Kant said.

He was addressing a gathering of students and staff of a city-based college during the inauguration of EMC Center of Academic Excellence in Data Science and Big Data Analytics.
