Alert villagers near KK Chavadi, on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border, foiled the attempts by three persons to dump human wastes brought in three lorries from Kerala.

The villagers became suspicious when they noticed the vehicles with Kerala registration parked in the remote area. A very foul smell was emanating from the lorries. They found that the lorries contained human waste. The drivers, it seems, were planning to dump the contents at night.

The police were immediately called in, but by then the drivers of the vehicles escaped. Search is on for the drivers.
