Attempt to rob temple hundi foiled; thief arrested by public

A young man was caught while he was trying to rob a hundi at a Ganapathy temple in Coimbatore last night.
Passers-by noticed Karthikeyan climb the wall and jump into the temple located on the Palakkad Main Road. They raised an alarm and a few more people gathered around the temple.
They caught the thief and informed the police. It was around midnight by the time the cops arrived. Cash of Rs.2500 was recovered from Karthikeyan.
