Avinashilingam Institute convocation: Nirmala Sitharaman to be chief guest

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be the chief guest at the 29th convocation of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women on January 7.
Besides delivering the convocation address, the Minister will honour rank holders at the convocation, which will be presided over by Chancellor Dr. P. R Krishnakumar.
A total of 53 Ph.D Scholars, 32 M. Phil Scholars, 273 Post Graduates and 1,593 Under Graduates will receive their degrees and 74 Graduates will receive Gold Medal for their meritorious performances.
