Bag with 6 lakhs cash stolen from parked vehicle

A bag containing Rs. six lakhs was stolen from a parked vehicle in the city today.
In his complaint lodged with the police, Tirupur-based businessman-cum-realtor Ramasamy said that he had parked his vehicle (Bolero) near the registrar’s office, where he had gone to file some papers. On return, he found the vehicle’s window screen broken and bag containing cash missing.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
