Basket Ball: Indian Army to take on IOB in finals

Indian Army will meet Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) in the title clash of 53rd All India Basket Ball Tournament for PSG Trophy for men on Thursday.
In the first semi-finals, IOB defeated Vijaya Bank 74-62. IOB, who maintained the tempo by leading 23-13 from the first quarter and led 63-43 at half time and went on to win 74-62.
Prasanna Venkatesh scored 24 points, Sivabalan 17 for the winners, while Karthikeyan and Anil Kumar scored 17 and 16 for Vijaya Bank.
In the second semi-finals, Indian Army defeated Punjab Police 73-65 to enter the finals.
Gopal Ram scored 21 points and Issac Thomas 16 for Army men, while for the policemen Amjyot Singh scored 24 points and Rajbir Singh 10.
