Basket Ball: RCF, Indian Army, IOB register victory

RCF defeated Arise 96-88 today on the second day of the 53rd All India Basket Ball Tournament for PSG Trophy for men, being underway here.

Harminder Singh potted 29 points, Rajan Sharma 26 and Bijender Kumar 20 for the winners, while Harish 34 and Vijaybaskar 14 played well for the losers.

In the second match, Indian Army defeated KSEB 84-66.

Army men were trailing 16-23 in the first quarter and rallied well from the second quarter to 40-41, third quarter leveling at 58-58. However, the holders pulled up socks to win the match 84-66.

In the third match, IOB beat Customs 82-71.

The IOB was trailing till second quarter 34-41, but came back from third quarter at 60-51, to win the match 82-71.
