Basketball: CBDA defeats Indian Navy

Hosts Coimbatore District Basketball Association (CBDA) defeated Indian Navy 94-83 in the inaugural match of the 52nd All India Basketball Tournament for Nachimuthu Gounder Cup for Men, which began here today.
A Vijay scored 32 points for the winners while Amal score 22 for Navy.
In the first match for 16th CRI Pumps Trophy for women, Chhattisgarh defeated North Frontier Railways 57-43. Mega Singh potted 14 points for Chhattisgarh and Geetha top scored with 17 for NF Railways.
