Bear attacks factory worker

A factory worker was seriously injured when a bear attacked him today.
According to police, Varadharajan was on his way to his duty to a needle factor in Ellanahalli, when he realised two bears behind him.
As he started running, a bear chased and attacked him, resulting in serious injuries on his hand, thighs and abdomen. As passersby raised an alarm, the animal disappeared in the nearby bush. Varadharajan was rushed to the Government Hospital, from where he was referred to Government Hospital in Coimbatore.
