The Sri Ramakrishna Hospital made a noble achievement and set a Guinness World Record of the ‘most people to sign up as organ donor in eight hours’, when 13,206 people signed up on March 19.

On November 30, the multi specialty hospital was awarded ‘best public service initiative project award by a private sector hospital’ at the International Healthcare Summit, held in New Delhi.

The award was handed over by MP and former Union health and family welfare minister Dr CP Thakur, in the presence of Lok Sabha MP and actress Kirron Kher.

The award was received by V Ramakrishna, COO of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital (Medical Service-SNR Sons Charitable Trust).
