Bharathiar University announces new Masters programme in History

Bharathiar University is launching a new Department of History and Tourism, which will offer Masters Post Graduate Programme in History, from this academic year.
The M.A. programme is aimed at those looking for employment in higher education as well as state and central government offices, since the course content was framed to meet the requirements of the exams for such employment, a press release from the Coimbatore-based University said.
Since the university, along with Anna I.A.S Academy, is offering coaching classes for civil service examinations, the students pursuing Masters degree in History will also get an opportunity to train from the academy.
