The Union Minister of State for Shipping, Pon Radhakrishnan said that the centre will talk to the state governments to provide job opportunities for ex-servicemen. There are plans to announce special reservations for them.

The minister was talking to reporters on the sidelines of 28th anniversary celebrations of the Coimbatore Ex-servicemen and Widows Welfare Society. Reminding the reporters that the Narendra Modi government had already announced the One Rank One Pension scheme, he added that Modi will announce more schemes for the former soldiers.

Terming the protests surrounding the suicide of the Dalit scholar in Hyderabad as a “non-issue,” Pon Radhakrishnan said that the desperate opposition was not finding any reason to blame Modi Government.

A very confident Radhakrishnan said that Modi will continue to rule for the coming 15 years.
