Coimbatore : Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK) today asked Tamil Nadu BJP to ensure that the Centre does not not go for
appeal against the High Court Order on OBC quota in the All India Quota seats in State government-run medical colleges.

Since BJP president, L Murugan had welcomed the court order, he should ensure that the Central government does not go for appeal against it, KMDK General Secretary, R Eswaran said in a statement.

The State BJP should also take steps and exert pressure on the Central Government to decide on the issue within three months as stipulated by the Court, Eswaran said.

Murugan should not not only welcome the order, but should also ensure that it is implemented, he said.

Claiming that OBC students were deprived of seats for the last four years, Eswaran said that the Centre should come forward to provide
seats as was being given by the State government.
