BJP to hold GST seminar on June 22

The implementation of GST from July will benefit the poor and help development, according to BJP State vice-president Vanathi Srinivasan.
As part of creating awareness among the public and businesses, the part is to hold a GST seminar here on June 22 which will be addressed by Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman.
“We can’t accept that CPM charge that some Hindutva forces and the BJP were behind the hurling of a petrol bomb at the party office here on June 17,” she told mediapersons. While condemning the incident, she wanted the CPM to prove its charges.
She also said that the BJP state unit would seek the support of parties for the presidential candidate.
