Bosch second batch of plumbing course begins

Coimbatore: The second batch of general plumber course organised by Bosch India Foundation was inaugurated yesterday at Sri Ramakrishna Advanced Training Institute (SRATI). Sanoj, DH, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited (RBEI) and Krishna GRM, RBEI, inaugurated the event.

According to a statement, 20 youths were selected from the 10 villages adopted by Robert Bosch Foundation and also from tribal villages here.

The general plumbing course is organised as part of Bosch India Foundation’s mission to bring economic development in its adopted villages.

Vishnukannan M, Community Development Manager, Bosch India Foundation, Coimbatore said, “Most of these youths are school or college dropouts and on successful completion of this course, they can even apply for jobs abroad.”

The first batch received certificates on successful completion of the course.
