Boy held for bomb call hoax to CM’s house

Police today arrested a 14-year-old boy for making a hoax call that a bomb would explode in Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s Poes Garden residence.
The boy, identified as Bhuvaneshwaran, had called the Marakkanam control room last evening and said that a bomb had been placed at the Chief Minister’s residence.
An investigation was immediately launched and the call was traced. It was later found that the boy was suffering from mental illness.
Further investigations are on.
