Burglars make away with gold and cash

Around Rs. 13,000 cash and gold worth Rs. 15,000 was burgled from a house in Tatco Colony, Peelamedu.
The theft took place when the occupant Shankar and his family had gone away to attend a family function on 13 November. They returned on 14 November only to find that burglars had made away with their possessions.
Shankar, who works as a public relations officer in a private firm, filed a complaint at the Peelamedu police station about the theft.
According to sources, the police are looking into the matter.
