The Jamaat-e-Islami has launched a nation wide campaign to promote peace and brotherhood and curtail intolerance.
In a recently-held seminar on ‘Peace and Humanity’ here, Professor. Ajaz Ahmed Aslam, Editor, Radiance Views Weekly said it was the responsibility of every citizen to work towards in bringing peace and harmony in our country. “It is important for every community to cooperate and work together to make our country an example of unity in diversity,” he said.

A press release from the Coimbatore chapter of this NGO said that the motto of this campaign was to nurture communal harmony, remove intolerance and to focus our attention and working towards preventing the evil forces from defaming and degrading the respect of India in the international arena.
