Cattle given vaccination, undergo various tests at veterinary health camp

More than 80 farmers brought their cattle to the veterinary health camp conducted by Bosch India Foundation, along with the Animal Husbandry Department at Kalipalayam village,Vellamadai Panchayat in Sarkarsamakulam block here.

Various treatments including artificial insemination, pregnancy test, azollo demo, deworming and vaccination were given to the animals. Prizes were distributed to the owners whose cattle were in good health condition.

“The main aim of the camp is to develop the livestock of the village. This is the fifth time we are organising a veterinary health camp. We have been conducting camps in Vellamadai panchayat regularly. But this is the first time we have held a veterinary health camp in Kalipalayam village,” said Vishnukannan M, Community Development Manager of Bosch India Foundation.

Bosch India Foundation has also adopted the Kondayanpalayam panchayat of Coimbatore district and is looking after the panchayat.
