Chain of Sulur munsif’s wife snatched

Coimbatore: Police are on the lookout for two motorcycle-borne youths, who snatched the gold chain from the wife of the Sulur district munsif.
According to police, Munsif K Selvapandi and wife were returning home on their two-wheeler last night when the youths came on a motorcycle from behind and snatched the chain weighing nine sovereigns.
On a complaint, though police alerted all check posts and strategic points, they failed to nab the culprits. Search is on for the snatchers through the CCTV footage placed in and around the area, they said.
