Chamber invites President for 90th year celebrations

Coimbatore : The local chapter of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has invited President, Ram Nath Kovind to visit the chamber and address the members during the 90th year Celebrations.

Kovind has considered the invitation and told a delegation, which met him here on March three that he would make a visit to the Chamber, whenever he visits Tamil Nadu.

The Chamber office bearers, led by its president, V Lakshminarayanasamy also briefed Kovind about the proposed Industrial Corridor by the Centre and said that  if implemented through Coimbatore, will greatly help MSMEs not only to utilize  their spare capacities but also upscale their production and improve the economy of the region and nation, a chamber statement said today.
    
The chamber was founded in 1929.
