Charred bodies of two women recovered from a house

The police recovered the charred remains of a woman and her daughter from a house on Avanashi Road today.
Based on complaints from the neighbours that foul smell was emanating from a house that was partially damaged, police arrived at the spot and found the completely charred bodies of two women. The flesh had completely burned down and only the bones remained.
A woman, her daughter and mentally-ill son were the inmates of the house. The son was reportedly missing since a fortnight.
A post-mortem examination was conducted at the spot and the police concluded that the bodies were burned about two weeks ago. Further investigations and the search for the missing son are on.
