Coimbatore Fashion Fest on Sept 15, eyes world record

The fourth season of the Coimbatore Fashion Fest 2017 is being organised by city-based ADF Studios in association with Fusion Falcon Entertainments at the Hindustan College of Arts and Science on September 15.
Fashion designer A Manoj Saravanan of ADF Studios told mediapersons that the fest is an attempt to create a world record and also be a milestone in fashion industry.
“We have invited budding designing students to showcase their fashion labels. The event will serve as a platform for fashion designing students through job placements in reputed fashion and garment manufacturing companies across the country,” he said.
The costume designing and fashion department of Hindustan College of Arts and Science is closely associated with this event. Around 200 designer students in Tamil Nadu have registered for showcasing their labels in the event.
There would be 15 fashion sequences and 135 designer labels on display. Thirty professional models would wear the labels created by the fashion designing students, said R Suchitra, college HoD of costume designing and fashion.
