COIMBATORE: Coimbatore Law College students today boycotted their classes and staged a protest demonstration in the campus against the sexual harassment of a college girl in Pollachi.

‘Campus Friend of India’ organisation’s joint secretary Mohammad Nihaj presided over the students’ demonstration, seeking a fair investigation of the Pollachi sexual abuse case. The students raised slogans demanding capital punishment for the accused.

They also condemned the Pollachi Police for favouring the accused and criticised, Superintendent of Police R. Pandiarajan, for releasing the details of the victim. They also demanded a probe against any ministers allegedly involved in this case.
