The Coimbatore Science and Technology Festival (CSTF) is all set to harness the education and industry interface in the city and ignite the spirit of innovation and creativity in young minds. It will be held on January 6 and 7.

As part of the Coimbatore Vizha 11th edition, CSTF will provide a platform for great minds in science and technology to meet and produce interactive content that allows a broad audience to engage through discussions, exhibits, working models, interactive explorations and major indoor and outdoor experiences.

School and college students across the city can register their innovative projects online through the website www.cstf.co.in , on or before December 7. Selected projects will get a chance to be displayed at the festival venue Codissia trade fair complex and also stand a chance to get mentored and developed by relevant organisations. Winners can also get attractive cash prizes worth Rs 3 lakh.

Festival chairman Jayaprashanth Jayachandran said, “This first-ever edition of CSTF will have four zones, bringing together a display of innovative projects from schools, colleges and industries from across the city and the fourth, and experience zone, will house a series of displays on future trends and technologies. There, people can experience and engage with a lot of fun and interesting experiences such as robo wars, augmented/virtual reality experiences and much more.”
