College girl’s chain snatched

Miscreants snatched a one-sovereign gold chain worth Rs 10,000 from a college girl near Karumathampaty on Tuesday.
According to police, Abirami Devi a final year BE computer science student of Teja Sakthy College in Karumathampatty, stays in the college hostel.On Tuesday she went out to the laptop service centre near the hostel when two miscreants came in bike from behind, snatched the chain and fled.
Based on her complaint, police registered a case and said patrol in area had been intensified.
