COP felicitates officers who won medals at sports meet

Police Commissioner A. Amalraj on Tuesday felicitated police officials from Coimbatore who won medals at the 34th State Senior Athletics Meet that was held recently.
According to a release from the city police, Sriranjani of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) had won two gold medals in high jump and long jump; Sadasivam from the BDDS had won bronze medal in discus throw, and Special Sub Inspector (SSI) Marappan from Kattor Police Station had won silver medal in the 5 km walk at the 34th Senior Athletic Meet.
The officials were felicitated by Commissioner Amalraj at the Police Commissioner’s Office, on Tuesday.
