Corpn sets up monitoring system in five zones

The City Corporation has set up a complete monitoring system in all the five zones of the city. Forty-one rescue centres have been set up in schools and community halls and 12,259 families from 32 areas (prone to floods) have been identified.

Sources in the Corporation told The Covai Post that lorries to dispose off the sludge, JCBs and gunny bags have been kept ready in Sivananda Colony, Kikani School and Avinashi Road flyover.

Thirteen rescue teams including doctors, led by joint engineers, have been stationed in every ward.
