Corpn to organise pensioners grievances meeting

The City Corporation has decided to convene a meeting to redress the grievances of pensioners once in three months.

The meeting will be held on the first Tuesdays in the months of January, April, July and October at Main Hall of the Corporation and the pensioners can come and present their grievances, the Corporation Commissioner and special officer, Dr. Vijayakarthikeyan, said in a communication, today.

There are 1,120 pensioners, retired from Corporation and 1,175 family pensioners. The Commissioner, along with other officials, will take remedial measures, it said.
